For entertainment there are multi-screen cinemas, a water park, naturalistic zoo, skateboard park, go-karting, water sports, boat trips, theatres, kids mini-park, historic castle, crazy golf and more to keep both the adults and the children occupied.

Fuengirola ligger i hjertet av golf territoriet til ”Costa del Golf”, fra her kan man nå minst 20 - 25 golfbaner innfor 5 til 20 minutters kjøring. Befolkningen har vokst fra 8.500 personer i 1960 til nå over 63000 offisielle innbyggere pluss et stort antall utlendinger nå oppholder seg der på permanent basis spesiellt i vintermåneden.
I sommermånedene, svulmer dette antallet enormt med innkommende turisme, som gir gode leieinntekter for de som har investert i ferieleiligheter og feriehus.
