The village square surrounds a fresh water fountain and a multitude of restaurants, other popular attractions comprise of the wine museum and the view point at the entrance to the village which offers unrivalled panoramic views of the coastline.
A relatively affluent history surrounds Ojen due to its famed production of aguardiente, the renowned anise liqueur.
Town centre properties consist of more traditional village housing, however heading past the old town you will find a region of modern larger properties set in elevated positions overlooking the Sierras Alpujata and Blanca.
