This modern and impressive property sits in a tranquil residential area of El Rosario. Languishing elegantly over an expansive plot of 1600m², the property charmingly welcomes you inside as if eager for you to discover its inner peace and beauty.
The main floor opens to reveal an imposing living room with an adjacent dining room, both of which are hugely illuminated through immense glass terrace doors and windows that open out onto the subtropical Mediterranean gardens. This joint living area is sophisticated in its dress sense as well as its layout, with each corner taking full advantage of the glorious views that lie outside. Soft recessed lighting works in conjunction with the natural light that floods in and creates a delicate touch, bouncing shadows off the marble floors underfoot. The overall effect is calming and stately.
The kitchen leads off from the main living area and is clean lined, sleek and modern. With wooden flourishes working in juxtaposition to the stainless steel fittings - the impression is a mixture of utilitarian meets luxury. Cupboards, unit fronts and the centre breakfast table all exhibit the strength that comes from using a darker wood which in turn offers a depth to the space. The kitchen is superbly lit through huge windows on the one side and via full sized sliding glass terrace doors on the other, leading out to the terrace that overlooks the gardens below. On this terrace is an outdoor dining area, perfect for entertaining guests alfresco, all whilst enjoying the expansive views of the Mediterranean that appear to rise up from the bottom of the garden.
Further along the same terrace is an exterior chill out area with a sofa whilst on the dining area is another more private terrace, offering sun loungers for reclining on the shade during lazy afternoons and a table surrounded by elegant bar stools, ideal for enjoying sundowners in the early evening. Stretching out alongside this terrace is the private swimming pool offering respite during the explosive summer months.
On the upper floor there are 4 elegant bedrooms, 2 of which enjoy the privacy of their own ensuite bathroom as master suites. All of the bedrooms are classical, almost sublimely understated in their furnishings and colour schemes. Creams, whites, oatmeal and soft grey feature throughout with a splash of colour here and an insert of wood there. The ambience created in each haven is of overwhelmingly grace. Each bedroom offers either fully fitted expansive wardrobes or a walk in closet and dressing area.
Each bathroom offers either walk-in showers and/or modern built in bathtubs with views through windows that reveal the sea far below or the private gardens that surround. Each spa like bathroom is dressed in clean cut white, soft beige and sporting the clinical cleanliness of stainless steel fittings.
It goes without saying that the master suites are something to behold. The first showcases a breathtaking vaulted ceiling made all the more majestic by its wooden beams that tower overhead. This room, set on a corner, sports grandiose glass sliding windows on 3 sides, allowing swathes of natural light to flood in and highlight every nook and cranny, helped by ingenious recessed lighting that faces upwards. Two sofas either side offer a comfortable corner in which to sit and read a book, borrowed from the library shelves that decorate the walls. The ensuite bathroom here reflects the wood in the bedroom by way of its darker units - a clever touch.
The second master suite is just a show stopping with its walk in dressing room adjacent to the main suite. With an expansive bed exhibiting a plush surround and matching head and foot boards, this room is all the more stately by way of the windows on either side of bed bedecked in wooden Venetian blinds, adding a sublime Caribbean feel to the room. Both of these master suites enjoy a superb terrace where residents can relax in privacy on sun loungers or recline on the sofa, whilst taking in the resplendent views.
